7 DIY Skin Toners To Get Fresh And Natural Glow

1. Rose Water Toner

Whether you have a dry skin or oily skin, rose water works in an amazing way to keep your skin toned and beautiful. It has long been used by women in many countries through centuries to maintain a healthy glow and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. When used on a regular basis, it assists in providing a soft pink tint to the skin. Just pour a few drops of rose water on a cotton ball and apply it on your skin. You may also use a spray bottle filled with rose water to spray it on thoroughly cleaned skin.

2. Aloe Vera-Lemon Toner

Aloe vera is a skin soother and helps in moisturizing dry skin. It rejuvenates sun damaged skin and aids in restoring its natural pH. Apply aloe vera gel on the skin after cleaning it. You may also mix one teaspoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and apply it on your skin. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes and wash off with water.

3. Neem Toner

Just take a handful of fresh neem leaves and wash them to get rid of dust and dirt. Add them to a cup of water and bring it to boil in a pan with covered lid. Remove from stove and let it cool. Strain and keep the solution in refrigerator to wash your face whenever required.

4. Green Tea Toner

Green tea is rich in antioxidants that are beneficial for maintaining a problem-free skin. The polyphenols present in green tea helps in destroying free radicals and keeps the skin free from damage. It also acts as an anti-aging agent while maintaining the moisture of the skin cells as well as removing excess oils from the pores. Steep 2-3 green tea bags in 2 cups of boiling water. Once it cools down, store it in a spray bottle and place it in refrigerator. Use it as a toner every day for a glowing skin.

5. Cucumber-Honey Toner

Extract the juice of a medium sized peeled cucumber and mix it with 2 teaspoon of honey. Apply this mixture on your skin and let it stay for 10-12 minutes. First wash with lukewarm water and then splash some cold water to tighten the skin and minimize pores. Cucumber helps in soothing the skin while honey moisturizes the skin to maintain a healthy glow.

Mint has a naturally refreshing scent and helps in toning tired skin. It also helps in soothing sunburns when used regularly. To make a mint toner, take around 1 cup fresh mint leaves and clean them thoroughly. Put them in 2 cups of water and bring it to boil in a pan with closed lid. Strain the water when it cools and put it in refrigerator. Use whenever you need to freshen up.

7. Papaya-Vinegar Toner

Papaya helps in tightening the skin effectively and provides you a beautiful skin. When mixed with apple cider vinegar, it tones the skin and keeps it free from imperfections. To make the toner, take a peeled papaya and deseed it. Put it in a blender to make a thick paste. Add 3-4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and blend them together. Apply this mask on your face and neck and let it stay for 15-20 minutes. You can also keep this mixture in refrigerator for later use. Wash with water and pat dry to reveal a soft and supple skin.
