Always Protect Your Eyes

If you work in a field where things are flying around in the air it is very important to wear eye protection. Don’t assume your glasses will protect your eyes. Safety glasses are made specifically to keep things out of your eyes. The last thing you want stuck in your eye is a piece of metal or wood.

Dust and other things aren’t good for your eyes either. Even if you are painting for a hobby with spray paints you want to wear protection so you keep your eyes healthy and happy.

There are other ways to care for your eyes too. If you suffer from allergies, itching your eyes can cause damage. Instead of itching use some soothing eye drops. If you suffer from dry eyes, though, don’t just turn to the eye drops. Go see your eye doctor to find out if there is some underlying cause of your dry eyes that drops might just mask.

Glaucoma

It is characterized by having multiple eye disorders including optic nerve damage, loss of vision field, and permanent damage to vision leading to blindness.Signs and symptoms include gradually progressive visual field loss, optic nerve changes, ocular pain, seeing halos around lights, redness of eyes, nausea and vomiting.

Keep your eyes safe and healthy and you will be able to enjoy them longer.
