Clean Windows For A Better View

This era is of sleek designs – functional and good looking. With this mentality prevailing the mindset of every industry, most buildings you see nowadays are made of glass.

With the need to be presentable, a major part of the cleaning staff is required to clean these windows effectively. This isn’t as easy or therapeutic as it looks. They require extremely efficient surface and window cleaning equipment.

Professional cleaning or domestic cleaning, both require you to have good quality window cleaning equipment for efficient and easy cleaning. With the right tools, you can save your time and resources both.

Should There Be a Difference in the Cleaning Products Used?

There is a slight difference in the domestic cleaning products as opposed to industrial ones. Industrial ones use harsher chemicals since they are mostly for surfaces and windows with more dirt adsorbed on the surface.

Domestic cleaning products are made for surfaces and windows which do not require harsh cleaning.

Most Commonly Used Window Cleaning Equipment

Cleaning equipment requirements differ with their use changes. However, there are a few pieces of equipment that are extensively used.

  • Scrubbers

Scrubbers are also available for industrial and domestic usage. They differ in shapes, sizes and the corrosion that they can endure. Since industrial cleaning is done using stronger cleaning products on harsher surfaces, these scrubbers are supposed to be durable. Domestic scrubbers are gentle to not harm the window surfaces that you use them on.

They often come with washing instructions and directions to use; it is advisable to go through them for the best use possible.

  • Ladders

Cleaning windows isn’t a ground-level experience all the time. Some surfaces are often high up. They can either be at a comfortable height, which one can reach using a domestic ladder, however, they sometimes are at a height that one needs a commercial ladder for.

Hence, the majority of the window cleaning equipment rentals give you a ladder of standard height for the same purpose.

  • Equipment Belts

Equipment to be held collectively is very important. Often, cleaners hold them together in a bucket that they place beside their foot on the surface that they are standing on, which can either be ground level or at a height on a ladder. However, at times when windows are being repaired or deep cleaned, they need their tools to be in their reach. A toolbelt is what one uses in such cases. They are sturdy, spacious and easy to use belts that one can store tools in.

  • Cleaning Products

Cleaning products, domestic or industrial level, are essential in window cleaning. Standard cleaning product properties are what both of these possess, allowing you to choose one which suits your cleaning needs.

  • Extension Pole

Cleaning within reach is easy and manual, however, sometimes one cannot outreach them. Extension poles can be used in such cases. It is also used when one has to do the cleaning faster and more efficiently or when one cannot move the furniture from its fixed position.

Window cleaning is therapeutic to look at. Cleaning can be a difficult task but if armed with the right equipment, one can easily get the job done.
