Westminster Abbey

Discovering a new palatial and magnificent show setting is top of the list when it comes to top designer fashion shows. Currently, one of the most popular and fashionable buildings in the world is Westminster Abbey. One of the most memorable fashion moments in recent times took place there as Kate Middleton stepped out of a car in her stunning McQueen wedding dress, ready to become the future Queen of England. Alessandro Michele will be adorning the Abbey in Gucci style in this year’s spring/summer show in June.

Blenheim Palace

This beautiful Oxfordshire stately mansion hosted Christian Dior’s 1954 show. In 1958, Yves Saint Laurent descended on the palace to showcase his collection and the fashion house will use it once again for the 2017 spring/summer cruise collection.

Linlithgow Palace

After purchasing a cashmere mill, the Chanel fashion house chose the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots for the Tudor-inspired collection almost 700 years after the fact. Combining tartan with layers of knitwear Stella Tennant, who modelled the collection, described Linlithgow Palace as very ‘the Scottish Widow gone Bloomsbury’. Karl Lagerfeld desired the rough romance of this breathtaking Scottish location to show off his tweed and tartan inspired collection.

By combining the right historical location with the right fashion collection, the result is one of imaginative and exquisite magic. A truly eye-catching show in an utterly remarkable and dramatic location produces a fantastically memorable experience.
