Additionally, various manufacturers offer polyurethane liquid membrane in separate grades for application from spray, trowel, or roller. - Polyurethane Liquid Membrane:
Generally, Polyurethane liquid membrane is a waterproofing solution for flat roof area, which is often exposed to weather conditions. Hence, it is the most expensive type of waterproofing method. It is because of its excellent properties. The Polyurethane liquid membrane renders properties of increased flexibility. It is because the Polyurethane substance is sensitive towards the moisture content present in the atmosphere. Hence, before applying this membrane one has to be very careful. Proper evaluation of moisture content of the concrete slab is must before applying this membrane. In case, moisture content is not taken care of, the membrane may get peeled off or can also get de-bonded after some time. Hence, it is important to take care of this aspect.
