About Laurita Old Hudec RN, WHNP-BC
Laurita Old Hudec is a women’s health nurse practitioner who serves patients in San Antonio, TX. She has operated as a bereavement coordinator, a labor and delivery nurse, and has more than 30 years of experience as both an RN and LVN. She is passionate about ensuring the highest quality and compassionate healthcare.
She acquired her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Government and Psychology from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX, in 1980. She later earned her license as a vocational nurse in 1982 at Clark County Community College. Laurita acquired her RN Diploma at Baptist Health System School of Health Professions in 1994 and her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 2005.
She went to Texas Tech Health Sciences, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2017. Laurita is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as a vocational nurse practitioner in women’s health.
Laurita has been invited as a guest lecturer at The University of the Incarnate Word and San Antonio College and is an educational association of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Also, she has been a member and president of the San Antonio Nurses in Advanced Practice and has worked as a Board Member of Texas Nurse Practitioners as the representative of the San Antonio region.
