A secured credit card is also not within the framework of a traditional credit card. You can deposit a certain amount as collateral to the bank first, and only then get access to a secured credit card. This is again used a lot by people who have no credit history or have a poor one. Most banks like SBI have a very nominal collateral amount, like Rs. 25,000 for a secured credit card.
