Also, Nashik has its railway station and there are many trains that connect Mumbai and Nashik, which is also the shortest route. The duration between Mumbai and Nashik is 5 hours. There are many festivals celebrated such as Makar Sankranti which is celebrated in the month of January and people enjoy by flying kites. A Rathyatra is carried in which Shri Ram and Garuda are moved in Nashik city. Kumbh Mela is one of the most awaited festivals which come after every 3 years. It is rotated among 4 sacred places of India i.e. Allahabad, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik. Also, the Godavari River is worshipped by the people and is celebrated by the locals.
  • Food- Nashik offers amazing Maharashtrian food such as pav bhaji, vada pav, missal pav, etc. You can also enjoy delicious delicacies from the state of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Also, Nashik Grape is a famous fruit and is also called ‘grape capital of India.’ So you will find many vineyards and wineries located in Nashik.
  • Attractions- You will see many temples that have some fascinating ancient history in Nashik like Shri Kalaram Temple, Ramkund, Pandav Leni Caves, Trimbakeshwar Temple, Panchvati, and many more. Better is to know the months in which the festivals are celebrated the most. In the peak season, you will get to see the crowd but it will worth seeing.
