Why should You Vape with a Marijuana Vape Pen?

In this post we will explain why vaping cannabis (whichever specific plant you pick) using a marijuana vape pen is really the best way to vape

Whether it’s nicotine or cannabis, vaping has become an incredibly popular alternative to smoking, but what is it about vaping that strongly attracts such a large percentage of the plant loving population? Let’s have a look at some of the pros of vaping as opposed to the more traditional method of simply smoking weed.

What is vaping?

If you are totally new to vaping or don’t know what it is then you must be living under a rock. No I’m kidding, vaping is simply a healthier way to inhale cannabis. It involves heating whichever type of cannabis you pick, either in dried herb or in an oil form, to temperatures below its combustion point. This heating method produces a vapour which you then inhale.

What device should you use to vape marijuana?

What type of cannabis you vape will depend on where you are located in the world and their particular restrictions. For example, if you are buying a marijuana vape oil from a retailer in the UK, it is not marijuana and the labelling is slightly misleading. In the UK, all cannabis products will be derived from hemp not marijuana due to its much lower (less than 0.2%) concentration of THC and much higher amounts of CBD.

To vape CBD or THC (in jurisdictions that allow it), I prefer vaping oils and extracts rather than dry herbs. This requires a different device – a marijuana vape pen or (CBD oil vape pen in the UK) primarily because I much prefer this type of device. Here’s why:

Easy and convenient: I don’t have to think about sourcing weed and then fiddle around filling the dry herb canister or rolling a spliff. I simply screw a vape cartridge onto my marijuana vape pen – less hassle, less effort! The most popular vape pens tend to be 510 threads so you just need to find a compatible cartridge and you are good to go.

Discreet: a marijuana vape pen looks just like what is named after a pen. This makes it very easy to discreetly store inside a pocket or bag and far less obvious when you get it out to have a puff. And as you are vaping the contents rather than combusting them, you are not producing smoke just vapour which allows you to be more subtle in public.

No smell: Granted there is a bit of a smell but no where near if you were smoking weed, but when you smoke in the traditional sense the smoke tends to linger on your clothes or any fabric you are around. With vaping, you do not emit smoke and so the smell does not linger in the same way.

The best vape pen starter kit: if you are new to vaping cannabis, a cannabis or marijuana vape pen is a great starting point being that it is super easy to use and gives great effect and enhances the flavour which is sometimes lost when you smoke. Especially if you have never smoked before or prefer not to take it up for the sake of weed. The best THC or CBD oil vape pen starter kits are those that are reusable vape batteries meaning they will be high quality hardware.

Stronger: if something is deemed a marijuana or cannabis vape pen it tends to indicate that the device is powerful enough to heat up thicker oils and extracts. These types of vape cartridges tend to be much stronger. Again, this will depend on where you are, but for example in the UK you can get CBD vape oil cartridges that are 65% CBD (much higher than a 10% e liquid cartridge).
